1.Loktak Lake

The God’s gift to the Indian state of Manipur, this only floating lake in the world is famed for the uncountable floating phumdis it contains. The lake is situated near Moirang, and is Manipur’s major source of water for hydropower generation, irrigation and drinking water supply. Pristine beauty and serenity of the lake is simply soul-soothing.


2. Dawki

Another gem of the north east, Dawki and its famed river Umngot is a major trade hub between India and Bangladesh. But it is the exceptionally crystal-clear waters of the river that leave visitors to this small town in Meghalaya spellbound. Surrounding greenery and fun activities in the river will make you visit here time and again.

3. Maravanthe beach





With Arabian Sea on one side and the Suparnika River, it could not a better drive than that in Maravanthe. Not many places offer such a sumptuous vibe as this beach does.


4.Malana Village

5. Parashar Lake

About 9,000 ft above the sea level is this blue water lake whose beauty will blow your mind, almost instantly. It is about 35kms from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, and is accessed only by a trek through lush Dhauladhar forests, and lofty Himalayan mountains.

6. Magnetic Hill, Ladakh

While driving to Leh, there is this place where you feel that your car is being pulled by a hill. Although it is just an optical illusion caused by a gravity hill, the experience is exhilarating and must-have, at least once.

7. Hanging Pillar - Lepakshi




The majestic Lepakshi Temple is built on over 70 mammoth pillars. To the whole world’s surprise, one of these pillars doesn’t touch the ground. Bewildered? See yourself! You can actually swipe a piece of cloth or paper across the gap between the ground and the pillar.


8.Hogenakkal Falls




On the Kaveri River in South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Hogenakkal Falls is often referred to as the “Niagara Falls” of India. And it is easy to why!

This man-made natural wonder is deep in the lush forests of Meghalaya. Built of natural, living roots, the bridge can bear the weight of human crossing it. To get to this double-decker bridge, you need to trek through dense forests full of breathtaking vistas.

10. Growing Nandi

You must have heard the rumors of the weeping Hanuman or milk-drinking Ganesha! But here is this real idol of Lord Nandi in the Yaganti temple in Andhra Pradesh that continuously grows. If Archaeological Survey of India is to be believed, the rock idol grows 1 inch per 20 years.
